Here at Coventry Cemetery, we know the value of a ceremony. We also know that families today want to personalize ceremonies for their loved ones, and to help them do just that, we offer a wide selection of unique special services. Picture this elegant, and meaningful scene, where doves or butterflies are released at the close of a loved one's funeral, memorial service, or graveside service. Balloon releases are also very popular for the young-at-heart.

Many families wish to have live musicians, such as bagpipers, violinists, or vocalists perform during the service event. Others wish to have a horse-drawn hearse or motorcycle hearse escort their loved one to their place of interment.  Believe us when we say that we will do our best to provide you with the perfect ceremony – on your terms.

Dove Releases

The releasing of white doves is a visually dramatic way of helping family members to let go of their loved one, and brings about a sense of closure and release. The trained white birds will soar into the sky, usually circling any number of times in a group before returning to their home lofts.

Butterfly Releases

When you add a live butterfly release to a commemoration, you give your guests a memory to last a lifetime. Butterflies bring that unique touch of inspiration and happiness to a graveside or open air ceremony. Balloon Releases

Balloon releases are commonly used today to commemorate the lives of young people, or those who were young-at-heart. A balloon release can be beautiful way to memorialize and remember a loved one, and with the advent of biodegradable balloons, a balloon release is also environmentally-friendly.
